The cover for MetaHorde has arrived!

So here it is- the cover for the novel the great Sean Page and I have been working on for the past year or so.
I must also take a little bit of time to thank all the beta readers, editors, reviewers et all who have helped us on this project- we hope that our readers appreciate all the hard work that has gone into this book.
I must admit I'm really looking forward to holding this baby in my hands. We are just going through the final, final proofing and then we're ready to print- hopefully all will be done and dusted and it'll be on sale within the month.

MetaHorde- Proofed version is here

We've been delivered the proofed copy of the collab novel I've done with Sean Page- Meta-Horde will soon be here! We're really taking our time going through it to double check everything and trying our best to make it as good as we can. The chaps at Severed Press have done a great job and I'm sooooo looking forward to seeing this in print.

The mock up of the cover has also arrived and apart from a couple of minor changes we're delighted with what has been produced. Apologies but we can't show you a sneak peek until the finished version is done and the publisher gives us the okay.

Meta-Horde- off at the publisher

The zombie novel that Sean Page and I wrote together is now all polished up and off at the publisher being read right now. There's a slightly different take to normal zombie story, set many years after the outbreak people are beginning to rebuild some semblance of society. Living in medieval walled cities their defences seem to be holding until the undead start to swarm together in unimaginable numbers. As the cities start to fall in their wake a plan is hatched to save what's left of humanity.

I've really enjoyed working with Sean and I'm very proud of what we have created. With a bit of luck it'll be accepted and I'd love to see what other people think of our little creation. I'll update the blog when we get some word back from the publisher.

Pyramid of the Dead- edits back

I've just received the edits back for Pyramid of the Dead, my next novel from the Twisted Library Press. It's been a long time coming but so happy that they are finally here. Suffering from the flu at the moment so will wait until I'm feeling a little bit better before I give them a go.

In the 16th century a few hundred Spaniards land on the shores of the vast Inca Empire. Over the next few months events unfold that bring down one of the greatest civilisations the world has ever see. Pyramid of the Dead is a story about greed, black magic, betrayal and an army raised from the dead.

Children of the Plague

Just released on the Kindle my short story collection, it'll be interesting to see how it goes. This is of course my first attempt at self publishing an E-book.http://www.blogger.com/img/blank.gif

Twisted Library- Anthologies cancelled.

Due to the poor financial conditions the Twisted Library (Library of the Living Dead and Library of Horror)have cancelled all of their unpublished anthologies. I'm a huge fan of its owner, Doctor Pus, and this is a very sad turn of events but hopefully this action will in the long run save the Library from fully closing. It does however give me lots of stories back, these include-
4 x zombie short stories
2 x zombie flash
1 x zombie poem!
1 x zombie v vampire mash up
1 x vampire short story
1 x werewolf short story
A couple of these stories are actually some of my best work ever so its pretty sad. It all comes to about 25,000 words now without a home, not sure what to do with them yet, might even hold onto them for a while, add to them and maybe even one day put them out as an e-book collection. I might even self published them for a pound or so a go.
What do you think?
